I really liked that hug between Mitsumata and Bojji, it felt so intimate. But I really liked the moment between Dorshe and Hiling even more. I hope if the main series gets another season we can see some development between them although I have a feeling there'll be time skips and we won't get to see it.

i thought it was precious how Bojji gave Bebin one of Mitsumata's old skins and how Bojji still had the mirror Mitsumata taught him how to read lips with. :> it is pretty funny that a lipless snake could do that! :> hah!

that was a funny and touching story about Bojji giving his collection of memorial treasures to his loved ones before he departed the castle to find Kage and explore the world together. just like all little boys, Bojji had found seemingly worthless items over the years that meant the world to him because of the memories attached to the treasures.

i at 40+ years old kept so few of my boyhood treasures like those over the years. i have a few highly peculiar stones of various values both geologically and monetarily, one amazingly well preserved Primary 6-9 raven's wing feather, and three ring-necked male pheasant's tail feathers.

(Fran generally gets beaten up a lot, too. AJJJ??AJ?? I am absoooolutely IN LOVE with main characters within elementary-middle school age that LOVES to fight and get BEATEN UP AND BRUISED. my heart aches for them) (I've been going to the older shounens exactly for this reason because it's more likely for the main characters to be young and be absolutely obsessed with getting themselves injured and beat up to "improve" or something, right? haha) (AND I LOVE SLIGHTLY OLDER SHOUJO GIRLS IN REVERSE HAREMS THAT ARE SO DAINTY AND CONSTANTLY GET ABDUCTED AND HURT IN THESE PETTY AND PRETTY WAY BY TOXIC BUT HANDSOME GUYS?!)
